It fills me with profound joy and admiration to learn of the meticulous efforts
being undertaken by the Assam University to orchestrate the Son Beel Utsav. This
endeavor stands as a covenant to the sheer commitment of Assam University towards
creating holistic development and preserving the cultural and ecological heritage of
the region.

The Son Beel Utsav serves as an inspiration of hope that illuminates the path
towards sustainable socio-economic growth and environmental stewardship. By
embracing the intrinsic beauty and cultural richness of Son Beel, this festival not
only celebrates tradition but also paves the way for a brighter future, where
communities thrive in harmony with nature.

As we stand together to revel in the festivities and engage in enlightening
academic sessions, we are reminded of the invaluable significance of preserving our
natural wonders and cultural legacies. Through dialogue and collaboration, we have
the opportunity to chart a course towards responsible tourism practices by ensuring
